What I will not do

No futures. No readings about somebody who is not at the table. No verdict on whether a person is cheating, lying or coming back.

These are not modesty. Each one is there because doing it would either be a lie or would do damage, and usually both.

I do not

  • Predict the future
  • Read about a third person
  • Tell you if somebody is cheating
  • Speak to the dead
  • Diagnose anything
  • Sell curses or their removal
  • Tell you to leave your faith

I do

  • Read the cards as a story
  • Tell you what I am getting
  • Let you supply the meaning
  • Keep it about you
  • Say I do not know
  • Stop when it turns harmful

Futures

I have never told anyone they were going to be pregnant next week and I never will. I would not know. A prediction is a claim that can be checked and fail, and a reader who makes them is either guessing or performing.

What I will talk about is what is already here. That is checkable in a different way: you will recognise it or you will not, immediately, and you can tell me if I have missed.

Other people

This is the boundary I hold hardest, and it is the one people push on most.

Is he cheating? I do not tell people if somebody is cheating. How the hell would I know if he is cheating. Dena

Two reasons. The first is that I do not know, and saying so anyway can end a relationship on the strength of a card. The second is quieter: asking about another person pulls them into your energy, and a reading is supposed to be about the one who came.

So I will not answer the question. What I will do is talk about why you are asking it, and in my experience that is the real reading nine times out of ten. Somebody who needs to ask whether they are being cheated on already knows something. What they usually want is permission to take it seriously.

Anything that would do harm

If a reading starts heading somewhere that would hurt you, I stop it. Not softly redirect, stop.

And nothing at that table gets repeated. Not to the person who booked after you, not to anybody.

Advice I am not qualified to give

A reading is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and I will say so out loud if a sitting drifts that way. If somebody needs a doctor, a lawyer or a therapist, the useful thing I can do is say that plainly rather than let a card stand in for it.

Why a list of refusals is on the website

Because most people who are nervous about booking a reader are nervous about exactly these things. The boundaries are not limits on what you get. They are the thing you are getting.

First reading is free, and you can stop it at any point.
